Sherman & Howard/Swendseid & Stern Among Top U.S. Law Firms Advising on Recovery Bonds During First Half of 2010

July 27, 2010  - The law firm of Sherman & Howard/Swendseid & Stern* was among the leaders in U.S. law firms advising on bond offerings related to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) for the first half of 2010.

The firm ranked third in the nation as disclosure counsel on ARRA bond offerings, serving as counsel on 15 bond offerings with an aggregate value of more than $1.1 billion (7.1 percent of all ARRA bond offerings in the United States for the first half of 2010.) The firm ranked seventh in the nation as bond counsel on ARRA bond offerings, representing clients on 25 deals with an aggregate value of more than $1.4 billion (2.6 percent of all ARRA bond offerings in the U.S. for the first half of 2010.) The firm also ranked eighth in the nation as disclosure counsel on all long- and short-term bond offerings that closed during the first half of 2010. These rankings are based on the total par amount of all first half of 2010 bond offerings, according to the most recent rankings released by Thomson Reuters.
