Five Sherman & Howard Lawyers Named Best Lawyers’ 2011 Denver Best Lawyers of the Year

November 8, 2010, DENVER - Sherman & Howard announces Best Lawyers in America has named five of its lawyers "Denver Best Lawyers 2011 Lawyers of the Year" within their respective practice areas.

• Douglas M. Cain, a member in the firm's Tax and Estate Planning practice, has been named "Denver Best Lawyers Tax Lawyer of the Year" for 2011. Mr. Cain received his Master of Laws in Taxation from New York University in 1970. He received his law degree, with distinction, from University of Michigan Law School.
• Michael J. Cook, a member in the firm's Construction Law practice, has been named "Denver Best Lawyers Construction Lawyer of the Year" for 2011. Mr. Cook received his law degree from University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 1977. He holds a Band 1 Ranking from Chambers USA in Real Estate Construction in Colorado.
• Michael Dubetz, a member in the firm's Tax practice, has been named "Denver Best Lawyers Non-Profit/Charities Lawyer of the Year" for 2011. Mr. Dubetz received his law degree from The Ohio State University School of Law in 1989.
• Bruce R. Muir, a member in the firm's Employee Benefits practice, has been named "Denver Best Lawyers Employee Benefits Lawyer of the Year" for 2011. Mr. Muir received his law degree from University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 1973. He has a Band 1 Ranking from Chambers USA in the area of Employee Benefits and Compensation.
• Frederick Y. Yu, a member of the firm's Business and Corporate practice, has been named "Denver Best Lawyers Health Care Lawyer of the Year" for 2011. Mr. Yu received his law degree from Columbia Law School in 1973.
