Joseph Bronesky Now Sherman & Howard General Counsel

December 10, 2007

Sherman & Howard L.L.C. is pleased to announce that Joseph J. Bronesky has been appointed General Counsel for the Firm. He succeeds Chris Lane, who, while on the Firm's Executive Committee in 1987, began handling the duties that would eventually become those of Sherman & Howard's General Counsel. Mr. Lane's position became official in 1993, and the Firm thanks him for upholding the position's duties with great professionalism from that date until the recent changing of the guard.

Joe Bronesky joined Sherman & Howard in 1976, and is now a Member in Sherman & Howard's Denver-based Litigation Practice Group, for which he also serves as Assistant Manager. He possesses a great deal of experience in trials and appellate practice, and he litigates cases involving commercial, construction, and real estate issues.

Sherman & Howard L.L.C., established in 1892, is the oldest law firm in Denver. The Firm counsels and represents its clients in most aspects of law affecting businesses and public institutions. More than 160 of the Firm's attorneys currently practice in offices in Denver, Colorado Springs, and Steamboat Springs, Colorado; Phoenix, Arizona; and Reno and Las Vegas, Nevada.
