Sherman & Howard Welcomes Seven Summer AssociatesJune 6, 2011 (Denver) - The law firm of Sherman & Howard L.L.C. is pleased to announce that seven summer associates will be arriving in its Denver office on June 6 to start the firm's 10-week summer associate program. Each Sherman & Howard summer associate, a first- or second-year law student, is assigned two mentors, a member and an associate, who provide guidance throughout the summer. The summer associates participate in a training program designed to give them hands-on involvement with real-world client situations - including client billable work, closings, conferences, depositions, negotiations, hearings and trials. "Sherman & Howard's Summer Associate Program is the firm's primary source for new hires," notes Marcy Heronimus, Sherman & Howard's member in charge of the firm's Summer Associate program. "We are proud to continue our tradition of mentoring and training law students.
