Sherman & Howard Ranked Highly in Nevada and Colorado
in Bond and Disclosure Counsel Categories

Sherman & Howard L.L.C. topped the Nevada state ranking for both Bond and Disclosure Counsel, topped the Colorado state ranking for Disclosure Counsel and Underwriter's Counsel, and placed second in Colorado for Bond Counsel in 2007, according to Thomson Financial's recent rankings.

The Firm earned its 2007 rankings by having approved more than $3 billion in bonds as Bond Counsel and approximately $382 million in bonds as Disclosure Counsel in Nevada during the year, and by acting as Bond Counsel on $2.8 billion of bonds, as Underwriter's Counsel on $1.3 billion of bonds, and as Disclosure Counsel on $1.2 billion of bonds in Colorado. In addition, the Firm acted as Bond Counsel, Underwriter's Counsel and Disclosure Counsel on bond issues in other Western states.

Nationwide, Sherman & Howard ranked eleventh and thirteenth in the Disclosure Counsel and Bond Counsel Categories, respectively.

The 2007 counsel rankings, quantified and determined by Thomson Financial, measured Sherman & Howard against firms nationwide as well as within the states of Colorado and Nevada. Measurements were based on total monetary amount of approved issues during the year.

The Sherman & Howard Public Finance Practice Group, known in Nevada under the name Swendseid & Stern, is among the largest in Colorado and Nevada. The Firm has been continuously listed in the "Municipal Bond Attorneys" section of The Bond Buyer's Municipal Marketplace (The Red Book) since that publication first started listing municipal bond attorneys in about 1939.
