Sherman & Howard Hires Colin Reid, Former TIC Holdings Vice President/General Counsel, as New Construction & Design Practice Group Member

Sherman & Howard L.L.C. is pleased to announce that Colin Reid has joined the Firm's Construction & Design Practice Group as a Member. Mr. Reid intends to utilize his 19 years of legal experience in all aspects of construction and design law for the benefit of both the Firm and its clients. "For years I've focused on what is best for a construction company," he said, "taking into account both the bottom line in a particular dispute or transaction and the factors that determine what is best for the company in the long term. I intend to bring to the table a combination of my experience and my knowledge of how client companies operate, for the benefit of clients."

Mr. Reid holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Colorado. From 1989-1991 he worked for the boutique construction law firm Ulin & Lambe in Seattle, Washington, then for Stoel Rives, also in Seattle, from 1991-1996. In 1996 he moved on to join TIC Holdings in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, first as Corporate Counsel until 1998, then as both General Counsel and Vice President from 1998 until his move to Sherman & Howard. TIC Holdings is one of the nation's largest heavy construction contractors, with more than $2 billion per year in revenues.
