Matt Walker Joins Sherman & Howard

Denver (March 10, 2011) - Sherman & Howard announces that Matt Walker has joined the firm's Denver office as an associate in the ERISA and Employee Benefits Practice.

Mr. Walker brings to Sherman & Howard four years of diverse experience in the practice of law, having served most recently as Labor Counsel to the U.S. House of Representatives Subcommittee on Health, Employment, Labor and Pensions on the Committee on Education and Labor. Prior to that, Mr. Walker served as Chief of Staff, among other roles, for Congressman Robert E. Andrews of the First District of New Jersey. Mr. Walker also served in Aspen as Deputy District Attorney in Colorado's 9th Judicial District. He received his law degree from Cornell Law School in 2006. He received a master's degree in education, focusing on administration, planning and social policy from Harvard in 1999, and he received his undergraduate degree, with honors, from the University of Southern California in 1995.
