April 22, 2009 - For the first quarter of 2009, the law firm of Sherman & Howard/Swendseid & Stern* ranked first in the nation as bond counsel in the competitive sale category (up from #9 in the first quarter of 2008) and sixth in the nation as disclosure counsel (up from #7 in the first quarter of 2008). This ranking is based on the total par amount of all first quarter 2009 bond offerings, according to the most recent rankings released by Thomson Reuters.
