Bob Deeny, a member of the Labor & Employment Department at Sherman & Howard, ranks in the top one percent of labor attorneys in the United States, on the authority of Labor Relations Institute, Inc.
In selecting the elite for its list of the Top 100 Labor Attorneys in the U.S. for 2007, Labor Relations Institute considered the most distinguished individuals from a field of 8,600 attorneys. Deeny's inclusion on the list comes as result of the combination of his extraordinarily active representation of companies in National Labor Relations Board elections and his substantial rate of election outcome wins.
Labor Relations Institute, Inc. was founded in 1978 as a consulting firm dedicated to maintaining the union-free workplace. Today it is the nation's most active firm committed to communicating the disadvantages of union membership to employee voters.
Bob Deeny serves as counsel for management clients regarding all day-to-day labor and employment law matters, including union avoidance, union negotiations and unfair labor-practice defense. He represents management clients before state and federal regulatory agencies, including the National Labor Relations Board, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, U.S. Department of Labor, and state civil rights divisions.
Mr. Deeny has been practicing labor law for over 35 years. Prior to entering private practice, he worked for the National Labor Relations Board. He conducts in-house seminars to train supervisors on problem and litigation avoidance. Mr. Deeny has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for labor and employment lawyers representing management since 1987. He works in the Firm's Phoenix office.
