Sherman & Howard's attorneys serve as regional counsel to utility providers and lenders, including one major utility provider, in connection with both power purchase agreements and project development and financing for gas, wind, coal and hydro-electric generation projects. We have managed the acquisition and disposition of assets and real property in multi-state cable transactions involving dozens to hundreds of owned and leased sites and related access and utility easements. Our attorneys coordinate site acquisition of a significant volume of leased and owned real property sites for a national wireless provider, including site acquisition, environmental assessments, facility modifications (such as technology upgrades), subleasing, and sale. This high-volume work has required negotiation with governmental agencies, municipalities, other carriers, tower companies and both corporate and individual landlords.
